A message from Wendy J. Roundtree, APR

As I sat down to write this letter, I wasn’t sure where to start.

A quote? A historical fact? A celebratory exclamation?

Surely there’s more I can offer as you take the time to read our monthly newsletter.

There is power in the words we use, and it’s my goal to always be intentional when writing to you.

As we celebrate Black History Month and the many contributions made throughout history, let’s push our organizations and clients beyond the status quo.

Ask the hard questions. Have difficult conversations. And, celebrate with the intention to educate and advance our profession. What we do as communicators should never be to simply check the box. As storytellers and strategists, our words have power. Our campaigns make a lasting impact.

I am truly excited about what PRSA Orlando has to offer throughout this month, and hope you’ll keep reading and register for the many opportunities outlined below.
