A message from Wendy J. Roundtree, APR

It’s hard to believe we are just two weeks away from the new year.

In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it can be hard to take a moment to reflect, but oh what fun it is to reminisce on a fulfilling and impactful year.

Our chapter has so much to celebrate and be proud of, including:

• 64 members who are accredited in public relations
• 213 total members — a 13% increase from last year,
• And countless memories made at breakfast events, mixers, casual gatherings and our most recent gala.

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our 2022 Board of Directors, committee members and every volunteer who gave of their time and talent to invest back into our membership.

And to you — our Orlando members — thank you for your trust and commitment to advancing the PR profession. We exist to provide opportunities where you can learn, network and grow.

I hope you’ve found that to be true this year, and as our 2023 board prepares for next year’s offerings, we welcome your feedback.

It has been an honor to serve as chapter president, and I look forward to cheering on Laura Lord-Blackwell, APR as she takes our chapter onward and upward.
