The Orange County Convention Center is one of the largest convention facilities in North America. The award-winning Orange County Convention Center provides approximately $5 billion in economic impact to Central Florida annually. In recent years, the Convention Center has averaged nearly 200 events, including 115 conventions and tradeshows that attract more than 2 million attendees to the region each year.
Job Description
Representative Duties/Assignments:
- Assist in producing photography, videography, and graphic design content for digital and print use.
- Support creation of marketing materials including social media graphics, presentations, and promotional assets.
- Capture and edit photo/video content for events, campaigns, and internal initiatives.
- Maintain and organize digital asset libraries (photo, video, and design files).
- Assist with website updates via the content management system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support accessibility efforts by applying basic ADA/WCAG guidelines (training provided).
- Collaborate on content development for web, mobile, and social platforms.
- Assist with video production, including filming, editing, and captioning.
- Support coordination of multimedia projects, including scheduling and equipment prep.
- Provide general support for event coverage and promotional needs across departments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited institution. Proof of enrollment will be required if you are selected for an internship
- Major coursework in multimedia/graphic design, marketing, communications and/or advertising
Preferences:
- Prior internship experience
- Junior or senior
- Excellent writing, communication, time management and project execution skills
- Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects in an organized fashion
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Ability to work in a team environment and cross-functionally with various departments
