PR Paid Forward is back: Apply to participate in 2026
PR Paid Forward is back for 2026 — and applications are now open for both volunteers and nonprofits.
Now in its fourth year, this impactful initiative brings together PRSA Orlando and FPRA Orlando members with Central Florida nonprofits for a half-day of pro bono strategic communications support. The event will take place on April 24, 2026, at the Rice Family Pavilion at Rollins College.
Last year’s event demonstrated the true power of collaboration. More than 30 communications professionals volunteered their expertise to support 19 local nonprofits, offering guidance on everything from messaging and media relations to branding and social media strategy. Through personalized, one-on-one coaching sessions, nonprofits walked away with actionable ideas, renewed confidence, and a clearer roadmap for advancing their missions.
For volunteers, PR Paid Forward offers a meaningful opportunity to give back while sharpening strategic skills, collaborating with peers, and supporting causes that strengthen our community. For nonprofits, it’s a chance to receive tailored communications counsel from experienced professionals who are genuinely invested in helping mission-driven organizations succeed.
Whether you’re a communications professional looking to make an impact or a nonprofit seeking strategic guidance, we invite you to be part of PR Paid Forward 2026. Volunteer and nonprofit applications are now open, and we encourage you to also help spread the word by sharing this opportunity with organizations in your network. Together, we can continue building momentum — and impact — through the power of public relations.
Ready to get involved? Applications are due by Feb. 13. PRSA Orlando and FPRA Orlando members are invited to apply as volunteers, and Central Florida nonprofits are encouraged to submit an application to receive pro bono communications support.
