The Senior PR Manager serves as the leader and primary interface for all public relations on behalf of designated Findsome & Winmore clients. The Senior PR Manager will provide guidance on all aspects of PR for both the agency and the clients. The clients will include a variety of brands, business sectors, geographic markets, and target audiences. 

This position includes ongoing media relations, creating and distributing content, leading strategic communications planning, providing analytics, and overseeing the day-to-day execution of PR plans for clients and news/publicity initiatives that generate media coverage. This position will also supervise Associate PR Managers/Coordinators.


• Generate broadcast, print and internet editorial coverage for clients in desired  strategic news and influencer outlets

• Pitch, create and manage various content, including but not limited to, press releases, blogs, social media, website, brochures, press kits, fact sheets, and biographies

• Understand client business targets (and the industry in which it participates), provide appropriate and timely strategic client guidance

• Develop and sustain excellent working relationships with trades, reporters and influencers

• Participate in and train for spokesperson media training activities

• Coordinate with clients to manage news affecting crisis communication and brand reputation

• Stay abreast of key issues facing client industries

• Collaborate with internal, social media and influencer engagement teams to extend and maximize news

• Oversee media monitoring processes and reporting for clients and create monthly coverage reports

• Support overall corporate business goals and priorities and collaborate with counterparts in agency to support corporate priorities


• Manage projects to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met

• Assist in managing account support on all media relations strategies

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines

• Passion for brainstorming creative ideas and storytelling 

• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills

• Outstanding media relations skills, including the experience and confidence to speak with the press on a daily basis on a wide, varying range of topics

• Expertise in producing b-roll, video news releases and other supporting video

• Proven success in generating national, local and regional media coverage

• Excellent writer and editor

• Strong understanding of and experience with social media

• Effective verbal communications skills and ability to influence internal and external audiences

• Excellent collaborator and builder of relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Experience and leadership with crisis management

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment balancing multiple priorities

• Proven success in local and national media relations programs


• APR designation and public relations agency experience preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism or English

• 4-5+ years of experience in public relations or marketing (agency experience preferred)

• B2B and B2C client experience preferred
