Description

The Marketing Coordinator will work extensively with the offices located away from Central Florida. Responsibilities are in two major areas:

  1. Video Content Creation at Operating Locations
  1. Coordinate Trade Shows and Regional Events

Video Content Creation for Operating Locations: create the content concept, shoot and edit videos for website and social media placement.

  • Identify content ideas in conjunction with marketing staff and Division Managers
  • Create storyboards, scripts and shot lists
  • Manage the pre and post-production of original marketing videos
  • Secure permissions, when necessary
  • Conduct interviews
  • Shoot video with good quality sound and lighting
  • Edit content, with Marketing Director input, to tell an impactful story
  • Upload final product

Coordinate Trade Shows and Regional Professional Events: plan, manage, and evaluate all trade shows and event opportunities, primarily originating from local chapters of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and HOA/condo commercial expositions. Choose which meetings/trade shows the organization will attend, develop and carry out the trade show/event plan, and prepare for and manage individual shows/events.

  • Research, evaluate, and maintain list of future and planned trade show events
  • Secures contracts, negotiates exhibit locations, processes invoices for payments
  • Work with Vice President of Corporate Marketing to select the optimum sponsorship package and handle the creation of ads associated with each CAI chapter and/or event (program ads)
  • Coordinate the logistics around each event in an organized and efficient manner
  • Oversee show materials inventory and order all displays, booth accessories such as marketing materials, tablecloths, promotional giveaways, promotional signage, displays, video monitors
  • Maintain promotional giveaway inventory and order replacements
  • Attend trade shows
  • Oversee all booth set up and tear down
  • Monitor event activities to ensure satisfaction of the appropriate Division and the organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor’s degree is required. At least one year of experience (internships count) in video production, event management, or other suitable line of work
  • Valid Driver's License is required
  • Frequent travel is required

 ESSENTIALS

  • Must have documented experience in videography, editing and production, particularly knowledge of video editing software
  • Script writing and storyboarding skills are desired
  • Must have general knowledge of trade shows and preparation for events
  • Strong planning, organizational, and presentation skills are desired
  • Some project management experience is desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (particularly Publisher) are desired
