CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

FUNCTION:  Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Email Marketing Manager offers guidance and education in email, text and web marketing while introducing tactics to communicate across multiple digital channels effectively. This individual must enjoy the challenge of getting their hands dirty to dissect the best approach and get excited by the analysis of campaigns. Collaborative spirit and flexibility to pivot based on results are critical to success in this role.

The Email Marketing Manager will promote the Realtor® brand through designated channels and enhance ORRA’s presence through various campaigns.  Actions include but are not limited to interacting with members and public, developing contact strategies, creating and managing campaigns, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, generating and analyzing data, and expanding opportunities for non-dues revenue leveraging various digital channels as assigned.

The Email Marketing Manager is a highly motivated individual who will deliver marketing campaigns with expertise and a passion for connecting with current and future ORRA members.

The Email Marketing Manager is instrumental in managing ORRA’s digital assets and will also be responsible for managing ORRA’s content creation for various platforms to include ORRA, ORRF, FAM, and others as necessary.

This position may present to Association Leadership, the Board of Directors, and their associated Committees.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • EMAIL/TEXT MANAGEMENT (70%):
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop, execute, maintain, and optimize email marketing campaigns for all audiences, including preparing responsive HTML templates.
    • Experience building, testing, and executing end-to-end Marketing Automation campaigns and flows, including analytics.
    • Develop operational and performance reporting to inform stakeholders, generate insights, and recommend optimizations.
  • Collects customer data, analyses interactions, and visits, and uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM Act and regulations related to online privacy.
    • Grows and expands company text messaging database and platform.
  • WEBSITE MANAGEMENT (20%):
    • Maintain ORRA’s customer-facing website to help drive traffic, create a seamless user experience, and implement evolving site needs.
    • In addition, oversee, implement, and optimize ORRA’s and all their related brand’s website working with MarCom and other internal and external stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and maintain web standards for ORRA and all brands’ websites.
    • Develop an internal system for submitting, tracking, and responding to website change requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Monitor website performance, write, and present performance reports as necessary.
    • In conjunction with the Content Manager, makes recommendations on how to evolve site and content.
  • GENERAL MARKETING (10%):
    • Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision, and identity of ORRA and support the sales and marketing of ORRA projects, services, and solutions, as well as their subsidiary’s.
    • Quantify KPI’s in monthly marketing reports for text message platforms, email marketing, web marketing, the consumer campaign, and other KPI’s as assigned.
    • Research and monitors the activity of company competitors.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content and create and distribute engaging written or graphic content.
    • In collaboration with the PR Manager, support crisis and issues communications, as needed via digital platforms such as text, email, or web.
  • Leads special projects and serves as committee liaison as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with at least five years professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • At least three years’ experience in email marketing or ecommerce.
  • An in-depth understanding of website creation/management, digital marketing strategies, and project management.
  • Base knowledge of SEO is preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Requires keen focus and individual contribution
  • Possess excellent managerial, supervisory, communication, and planning skills.
  • Comfortable presenting and speaking to executive leadership and large audiences.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and collaborative skills are required.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and email marketing software such has MailChimp, ClickDimensions & Constant Contact
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and remain productive under pressure is required
  • Must possess mature judgment, confidentiality, and a high degree of personal organization and initiative.
  • Be willing to take advantage of industry and professional learning opportunities to increase her or his knowledge and skill base.
  • Self-motivated
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
